• 1978 – Search for the Floor, original jazz compositions and arrangements of standards. Featured roots musician/guitarist/film composer Ry Cooder and contemporary jazz guitarist Joe Diorio.
  • 1984 – In the Mud, original jazz compositions and arrangements. One selection listed on the 1985 Grammy Award ballot for Best Jazz Instrumental Composition.
  • 1993 – Arrangement of Ellington’s “Mood Indigo” on Almost Everybody Slides (Rykodisk), featuring Lenny on acoustic guitar with Ry Cooder on Hawaiian slide guitar. The album also featured Mike Bloomfield, Johnny Winters, and other guitar luminaries.
  • 1994 – One movement of Five by Five, Lenny’s 5-movement work for guitar and string quartet, featured on The Bridge, Vol. 2, a compilation CD of Northwest Composers produced by the Portland Arts and Council.
  • 1996 – Arrangement of "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" appeared on the Camilli String Quartet’s Noel Noel CD (Sugo Records).
  • 2008 – Two CDs of original works: Echolocation, a 6-movement string quartet performed by the California Quartet. Seat of the Pants, an eclectic mix of Latin and mainstream jazz, ragtime, and choral music, featuring drummer Eddie Marshall, bassists Barry Green and Bill Douglass, pianists Rebeca Mauleon and Madeline Mueller, and multi-instrumentalist Hal Richards.
  • 2009 – "Hyphen Dance" for cellist Carter Dewberry’s solo CD, Origins.
